Adenophora Stricta Root Extract Alleviates Airway Inflammation in Mice with Ovalbumin-Induced Allergic Asthma.

Summary

The study found that the root extract from Miq., a traditional herb, can reduce inflammation and alleviate symptoms of allergic asthma. It also inhibits the production of proinflammatory mediators by LPS in macrophages. This suggests that Miq. root could be a useful herb for managing airway inflammation in allergic asthma.
