Gram-Scale Total Synthesis of TAB with Cardioprotective Activity and the Structure-Activity Relationship of Its Analogs.

Summary

Traditional Chinese medicine, specifically Tournefolic acid B, has shown significant cardio-protective effects against myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury. Gram-scale synthesis method of TAB was established, and analogs with similar activity were synthesized, showing potential as a novel cardioprotective agent.
