The Optimization of Medium Conditions and Auxins in the Induction of Adventitious Roots of Pokeweed (Phytolacca americana L.) and Their Phytochemical Constituents.

Summary

Researchers optimized parameters for adventitious root induction in pokeweed using different medium states and treatments with auxins. Semisolid medium with 2mg/L NAA showed high root induction efficiency, while liquid medium with 1mg/L NAA had the highest phytochemical contents. These findings can aid in adventitious root culture and phytochemical production.
