Summary

Essential oil from Plectranthus amboinicus showed promising antiproliferative activity against breast cancer cell lines. Molecule 4BHP may be a potential candidate for aromatase inhibition, but further research is needed for safety and efficacy. Novel drug delivery systems could enhance breast cancer treatment.
