Indian almond leaf extract (TCE) with high flavonoid and phenolic content showed antioxidant and antiaging effects in obese worms. TCE inhibited lipid and reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation and prolonged lifespan by downregulating atgl-1, daf-16, and skn-1 genes. TCE may have potential for antiaging under metabolic disorders.
This study investigates the effect of leaf extract on blood abnormalities and clotting problems in Type 2 diabetic rats, which could help improve treatment strategies for diabetes-related complications.
