Thalictrum foliolosum

Ethnobotanical Studies

Studies

Tailored NADES solvents for the extraction optimization of benzylisoquinoline alkaloids from Thalictrum foliolosum DC.- A potential phyto-nutraceutical source.

Summary

Researchers optimized extraction of alkaloids from Thalictrum foliolosum DC using tailor-made deep eutectic solvents and ultrasonication. The method yielded high amounts of berberine, berbamine, magnoflorine, and palmatine with strong antioxidant and anti-glycemic properties, suitable for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries.
