The effects of purslane (Portulaca oleracea) on glycemic indices: A GRADE-assessed systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.

A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials found that purslane supplementation significantly reduced fasting blood glucose levels but had no significant effect on insulin, insulin resistance, or QUICKI levels. However, more high-quality, long-term trials are needed for confirmation.
