Ethnobotanical survey and phytochemistry of medicinal plants used in the management of HIV/AIDS in Eastern Uganda.

Traditional medicine practitioners in Eastern Uganda use various medicinal plants rich in flavonoids and tannins to manage HIV/AIDS. These phytochemicals have potential for reversing HIV latency, providing a basis for developing new treatments for the disease.
