Effect of light on ascorbic acid biosynthesis and bioinformatics analysis of related genes in Chinese chives.
Study on how light affects ascorbic acid (vitamin C) levels in Chinese chive leaves. Found that darkness inhibits synthesis, with genes AtuGGP1 and AtuGME1 playing key roles. Shows importance of light in vegetable nutrition.
