Meta-analysis of citrus-derived additives on chicken meat quality and safety: a comprehensive evaluation of acceptability, physicochemical properties, and microbial contamination.

This meta-analysis shows that citrus additives improve chicken meat quality. Citrus reduces bacteria levels, TBARS concentrations, and TVBN while enhancing flavor and acceptability. Use citrus additives to preserve and improve chicken meat quality.
