Chitosan nanoparticles loaded with flaxseed extract showed improved stability and bioavailability. In a study on female rats with PCOS, CHIT-FSE had the best results in controlling hormonal and biochemical markers. Supporting phytomolecules on chitosan can enhance their therapeutic effectiveness.

Antiviral and cytotoxic activities and chemical profiles of two species of Abies nordmanniana from Türkiye.

Scientists investigated chemical content and biological potential of resin and cones from genus Pinaceae. Extracts showed cytotoxicity against cancer cells and antiviral activity against avian coronavirus. Pinaceae species may be a sustainable drug source with impressive potential.

Anti-hyperglycemic effects of Cissus quadrangularis extract via regulation of gluconeogenesis in type 2 diabetic db/db mice.

Researchers studied the effects of CQR-300 from vining plant on T2DM in mutated mice. CQR-300 reduced blood glucose, insulin levels, inhibited gluconeogenesis, lipogenesis, and oxidative stress. Potential as T2DM supplement.

Antidiabetic Activity, Phytochemical Analysis, and Acute Oral Toxicity Test of Combined Ethanolic Extract of Syzygium polyanthum and Muntingia calabura Leaves.

Combined ethanolic extract of and leaves showed strong antidiabetic activity by inhibiting -glucosidase enzyme and lowering blood glucose levels in rats, indicating potential for herbal medication development. Phytochemical analysis confirmed high levels of total phenolics, flavonoids, and quercetine.
