Ligustilide alleviates oxidative stress during renal ischemia-reperfusion injury through maintaining Sirt3-dependent mitochondrial homeostasis.

Researchers explored the potential of Ligustilide (LIG) to protect mitochondrial function and potentially ameliorate renal ischemia-reperfusion injury during transplantation. Understanding LIG's targets and mechanisms is important for improving patient outcomes.

Triple negative breast cancer migration is modified by mitochondrial metabolism alteration induced by natural extracts of C. spinosa and P. alliacea.

Researchers studied natural extracts P2Et and Anamu-SC from plants for their anticancer properties on 4T1 breast cancer cells. Anamu-SC showed promising results by decreasing glucose consumption and ATP production, affecting mitochondrial function and cell migration. This study highlights the potential of natural products in modulating tumor metabolism.
