Combining DNA and HPTLC profiles to differentiate a pain relief herb, Mallotus repandus, from plants sharing the same common name, "Kho-Khlan".

This study developed a method combining HPTLC and Bar-HRM analysis to differentiate between Mallotus repandus and two other plant species with the same common name. This technique can be used to accurately identify plant species, which is important for ensuring the safety and efficacy of medicinal formulas.
