Gastrodin relieves Parkinson's disease-related motor deficits by facilitating the MEK-dependent VMAT2 to maintain dopamine homeostasis.

Researchers found that dysregulation of VMAT2 leads to DA neurotoxicity and motor deficits in Parkinson's disease, but treatment with GTD derived from Gastrodia elata Blume may help regulate this dysfunction. This suggests GTD could be a potential treatment for PD.

Exploring the mechanism of Scleromitrion diffusum (Willd.) in treating lung cancer based on network pharmacology and experimental validation.

SDW components target 88 genes in lung cancer treatment, inhibiting cell proliferation via P I3K/Akt and MEK/ERK pathways. SDW may regulate apoptosis and proliferation in lung cancer therapy. Valuable insights into molecular mechanisms provided through network pharmacology, molecular docking, and experimental validation.

Antifungal activity and possible mechanism of Streptomyces nojiriensis 9-13 against Mycogone sp., causing wet bubble disease on Agaricus bisporus.

Strain 9-13, identified as Streptomyces nojiriensis, shows strong inhibitory activity against Mycogone species causing Wet Bubble Disease in Agaricus bisporus. Extracts destroy fungal cells, reducing disease severity by up to 87.32%. Potential biocontrol agent for mushroom production.
