Antifungal Synergy: Mechanistic Insights into the R-1-R Peptide and Bidens pilosa Extract as Potent Therapeutics against Candida spp. through Proteomics.

Researchers studied the antifungal activity of a peptide derived from LfcinB, R-1-R, alone and combined with a plant extract. Proteomic analysis showed up-regulation of proteins related to membrane, cell wall biosynthesis, and more. Results suggest potential antifungal mechanisms for future research.
