In vitro antiplasmodial and anticancer analyses of endophytic fungal extracts isolated from selected Nigerian medicinal plants.

Ethnomedicinal plants host endophytic fungi with potential antiplasmodial and anticancer properties. Fungal extracts from three plants showed antiplasmodial activity and low cytotoxicity. Identified bioactive compounds could lead to new malaria treatments.
