Predicting anti-COVID-19 potential: in silico analysis of Mauritine compound from Ziziphus-spina christi as a promising papain-like protease (PLpro) inhibitor.

Researchers studied the antiviral effects of the plant compound Mauritine on COVID-19 protease. Mauritine-A and Mauritine-C show promise with strong binding affinity and stability. This could lead to potential COVID-19 treatments.

Combination of tenuigenin-based Polygala tenuifolia willd. root extract and forsythoside a improved Alzheimer's disease.

Tenuigenin and forsythoside A extracts from specific plants show neuro-protective effects individually. When combined in a 2:1 ratio, they synergistically protect against Alzheimer's disease symptoms in cell models. Shows potential for future treatment development.

Investigating the Potential of Acacia nilotica-Enriched Glass Ionomer Cement: An Analysis of Antimicrobial Activity and Compressive Strength.

Study examined antibacterial and compressive strength of glass ionomer cement with plant extract.
