Mangifera indica L. kernel ethanol extract inhibits cell viability and proliferation with induction of cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in lung cancer cells.

Ethanolic kernel extract showed anti-cancer effects on lung cancer cells, inducing cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. It had higher toxicity on cancer cells compared to normal cells. This extract has potential as a lung cancer treatment due to its ability to selectively kill cancer cells while sparing normal cells.

Physiological, metabolic and hormonal responses of two Pinus spp., with contrasting susceptibility to brown-spot needle blight disease.
