Silver-cored Ziziphus spina-christi extract-loaded antimicrobial nanosuspension: overcoming multidrug resistance.

Scientists developed a silver-cored nanosuspension using fresh-leaf extract. It effectively fought drug-resistant pathogens, inhibited biofilm formation, and showed promise as an antimicrobial agent against multidrug-resistant pathogens.

Mango (Mangifera indica L.) seed kernel extract suppresses hyperglycemia by modulating pancreatic β cell apoptosis and dysfunction and hepatic glucose metabolism in diabetic rats.

This study found that mango seed kernel extract (MKE) reduced blood glucose levels, improved pancreatic function, and enhanced liver health in diabetic rats. MKE achieved this by reducing inflammation and oxidative damage, and promoting glucose metabolism in the liver.

Poisoning in ruminants caused by species of the genus Cestrum L. (Solanaceae) in Brazil: A review of toxicological and phytochemical evidence.

This study reviews Cestrum species causing poisoning in Brazilian livestock. Cestrum axillare, C. corymbosum, C. intermedium, and C. parqui are the main toxic plants. They cause liver damage and acute liver failure in animals. Chemical constituents like saponins and terpenoids are associated with poisoning, but more research is needed.
