Extraction of Ampelopsis japonica polysaccharides using p-toluenesulfonic acid assisted n-butanol three-phase partitioning: Physicochemical, rheological characterization and antioxidant activity.
Scientists used an efficient method to extract polysaccharides from Ampelopsis japonica. They analyzed the composition, structure, and antioxidant properties of the polysaccharides. The results suggest that Ampelopsis japonica polysaccharides have potential as natural antioxidants in food and pharmaceutical industries.
