Relationship between seasonal variation in isoprene emission and plant hormone profiles in the tropical plant Ficus septica.

This study explored the relationship between plant hormones and isoprene emissions in Ficus septica. Long-term changes in isoprene emissions were influenced by temperature, light, and cytokinin levels. This research helps understand the regulation of isoprene production in plants.

Map-based cloning and CRISPR/Cas9-based editing uncover BoNA1 as the causal gene for the no-anthocyanin-accumulation phenotype in curly kale (Brassica oleracea var. sabellica).

Scientists identified a recessive gene, , responsible for no-anthocyanin trait in kale. CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing confirmed its function. This study enhances knowledge about anthocyanin regulation in kale.

Genetic diversity, population structure, and genome-wide association analysis of ginkgo cultivars.

Scientists used genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) and genome-wide association analysis to study the genetic diversity of ginkgo trees. They found that most germplasms have no genetic relationship and identified candidate genes related to seed traits. This information can improve conservation and utilization efforts.

Effects of Dietary Medlar (Mespilus germanica L.) Extract on Growth Performance, Innate Immune Characteristics, Antioxidant Status, and Responses to Crowding Stress in Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss).

Medlar extract (ME) supplementation improved growth, antioxidant and immune status, and reduced stress responses in rainbow trout under high stocking density conditions. ME can be used as a beneficial feed additive.
