Researchers developed eco-friendly silver nanoparticles using Salvia sclarea extract, showing protective effects against diabetic nephropathy in rats. The nanoparticles reduced blood glucose, inflammation, oxidative stress, and apoptosis in renal cells. This study highlights the potential of EESS AgNPs for treating diabetes complications.

Polysaccharides extracted from common buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum) attenuate cognitive impairment via suppressing RAGE/p38/NF-κB signaling and dysbiosis in AlCl(3)-treated rats.

Study investigated the preventive effects of buckwheat polysaccharides on Alzheimer's disease in rats. FEP improved memory, reduced inflammation, and increased antioxidant activity. Results suggest potential therapeutic benefits for AD patients.
