Safranal alleviates pentetrazole-induced epileptic seizures in mice by inhibiting the NF-κB signaling pathway and mitochondrial-dependent apoptosis through GSK-3β inactivation.

Acorus tatarinowii oils exert protective effects on microglia-mediated inflammatory injury via restoring gut microbiota composition in experimental stroke rats.

Researchers studied the effects of Acorus tatarinowii oils on microglial inflammation after ischemic stroke. Results showed AT oils reduced cerebral damage, inflammation, and improved gut microbiota balance. Gut microbiota played a crucial role in the protective effects of AT oils.
