Multi-omics analysis reveals mechanism of Schisandra chinensis lignans and acteoside on EMT in hepatoma cells via ERK1/2 pathway.

Scientists found that traditional Chinese medicine components have anti-cancer properties against Hepatocellular carcinoma, a common and chemo-resistant cancer. This research may lead to more effective treatments for late-stage HCC.

Flavonoids from the leaves and stems of Sedum japonicum var. senanense and their antioxidant activity.

Twenty new flavonoids were identified in Sedum japonicum var. senanense leaves. Compound 8 had the highest antioxidant activity, while compounds 11 and 12 had the lowest due to neohesperidose attachment.

Quantitative analysis of anthocyanins and flavonoids in purple and green leaves of Eleutherococcus senticosus by UPLC-MS/MS techniques.

Researchers used UPLC-MS/MS to quantify anthocyanins and flavonoids in purple and green leaves of Ulmus pumila. Purple leaves had higher anthocyanin and flavonoid levels, with cyanidin-3galactoside and delphinidin as main compounds. Findings are important for potential health benefits of these plants.
