Phytochemistry Studies

Phytochemical profile and antifungal activity of essential oils obtained from different Mentha longifolia L. accessions growing wild in Iran and Iraq.

Scientists studied the essential oil of Mentha longifolia from Iran and Iraq for antifungal properties. Terpenoid and phenolic compounds have potential food and pharmaceutical applications. Consider genetics and habitat when determining plant phytochemical profiles.
