Angelica sinensis polysaccharides promote extramedullary stress erythropoiesis via ameliorating splenic glycolysis and EPO/STAT5 signaling-regulated macrophages.
Angelica sinensis polysaccharides (ASP) protect against anemia induced by chemotherapy, promote extramedullary erythropoiesis, and improve glycolysis via PI3K/Akt/HIF2α signaling. ASP enhances splenic macrophage activity, erythroid progenitor expansion, and erythroid differentiation, making it a promising treatment for stress anemia.
