Antidepressant-like Effects of Chinese Quince (Chaenomeles sinensis) Fruit Based on In Vivo and Molecular Docking Studies.

Chinese quince fruit extract (CSFE) contains compounds that improved depressive and anxiety-like behaviors in mice induced by corticosterone (CORT). CGA and neo-CGA from CSFE bind strongly to MAO-B, suggesting potential antidepressant effects.

Molecular Aspects of Piperine in Signaling Pathways Associated with Inflammation in Head and Neck Cancer.

Piperine from black pepper shows potential as an anticancer agent for head and neck cancer. It inhibits cell growth, triggers apoptosis, and reduces inflammation and migration. It may be effective in regulating signaling pathways associated with cancer development.
