Select Minor Cannabinoids from Cannabis sativa are Cannabimimetic and Antinociceptive in a Mouse Model of Chronic Neuropathic Pain.

Researchers tested 5 minor cannabinoids in mice for pain relief and cannabimimetic behaviors. Findings show potential differences between compounds and sexes, warranting further investigation into therapeutic benefits of minor cannabinoids. Significant for understanding effects of lesser-studied compounds in marijuana.

Plant Flavonoids with Antimicrobial Activity against Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).

Plant-derived flavonoids, especially flavones and isoflavones, show promise as novel antimicrobial agents against MRSA. They disrupt membrane structures, inhibit efflux pumps and β-lactamases, and bacterial virulence factors. This research could lead to new treatments for MRSA infections.
