Structure and antitumor activity of a polysaccharide from Rosa roxburghii.

Scientists found a polysaccharide in Rosa roxburghii that could help fight cancer. It inhibits tumor growth, suppresses angiogenesis, and activates the immune system. Potential for cancer treatment.

Phelligridimer A enhances the expression of mitofusin 2 and protects against cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury.

PA, an active compound from Phellinus igniarius, protects against cerebral ischemic injury by restoring mitochondrial function and reducing ER stress in both in vitro and in vivo models. This suggests PA could be a novel therapeutic agent for ischemic stroke.

Therapeutic efficacy and anti-inflammatory mechanism of baicalein on endometriosis progression in patient-derived cell line and mouse model.

Baicalein from Scutellaria baicalensis has potential anti-inflammatory and antitumor effects, but its therapeutic mechanisms in endometriosis are not fully understood. Endometriosis is a painful gynecological condition with limited treatment options and high recurrence rates.

Rosa canina extract relieves methylation alterations of pancreatic genes in STZ-induced diabetic rats : Gene methylation in diabetic rats treated with an extract.

Scientists studied how DNA methylation of certain genes can affect the function and development of pancreatic β-cells in diabetes. Rosa Canina extract showed potential for regenerating β-cells in diabetic rats. It's important for finding new treatments for diabetes.
