Antidiabetic Properties of Caffeoylmalic Acid, a Bioactive Natural Compound Isolated from Urtica dioica.

Tossers tested caffeoylmalic acid from Urtica dioica for antidiabetic activity. Results showed potential as a novel treatment for type 2 DM, reducing blood glucose levels and improving lipid and blood parameters.
