Standardization parameters and synergism of source plant materials for the antidiabetic efficacy of the Rauvolfia-Citrus tea.

TL;DR: Standardized herbal RC-tea from Rauvolfia-Citrus treats T2D with blood glucose control and lipid reduction. Mix of both plants essential for best results, avoiding hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia. Ideal, cost-effective alternative to GLP-1 treatments in low-income areas with rising T2D rates.

Identification of Scutebarbatine B metabolites in rats using UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap-MS/MS and exploration of its mechanism of reversal multidrug resistance in breast cancer by network pharmacology and molecular docking studies.

"SBT-B from S. barbata inhibits P-gp, reversing MDR in breast cancer. Identified 18 novel metabolites, mainly through oxidization and acetylation. Targets p27 phosphorylation, p53 signaling, and inhibits P-gp expression. Provides new insight for P-gp inhibitor development."

Effect of polyethylene microplastics on antibiotic resistance genes: A comparison based on different soil types and plant types.

Microplastics (MPs) in soil can carry antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs), posing risks to ecosystems and human health. MPs affect microbial networks and ARG distribution, with potential impacts on soil enzyme activities and plant health. Study highlights need to address MP contamination to protect environment.
