Antimicrobial secondary metabolites and antioxidant activities of fungal endophytes associated with Ziziphus spina-christi (L.) Desf. (Nabq) leaves.

Twenty endophytic fungi from (L.) Desf. leaves showed promising antimicrobial activity against bacteria and fungi. They also displayed antioxidant activity. This study highlights their potential as sources of natural antioxidants and antimicrobial agents.

Neuroprotective effect of Withania somnifera leaves extract nanoemulsion against penconazole-induced neurotoxicity in albino rats via modulating TGF-β1/Smad2 signaling pathway.

Penconazole fungicide leaves harmful residues on crops, causing neurotoxicity. Withania somnifera extract improves brain function. WSLE nanoemulsion enhances blood-brain barrier penetration, reducing neurotoxic effects of Penconazole.
