Licochalcone A induces mitochondria-dependent apoptosis and interacts with venetoclax in acute myeloid leukemia.

Licochalcone A (LCA), from licorice roots, reduces AML cell viability, induces cell death, inhibits signaling pathways, and enhances effectiveness of venetoclax, indicating potential as AML treatment.

Mechanistic study of the anti-excitatory amino acid toxicity of Bushen Zhichan decoction for Parkinson's disease based on the transcriptional regulation of EAAT1 by YY1.

Bushen Zhichan decoction (BSZCF) is a traditional Chinese herbal formula derived from Liuwei Dihuang Pill. It is used to treat Parkinson's disease by nourishing and tonifying the liver and kidneys. More research is needed to understand how it works.

Diabetic wound healing function of PCL/cellulose acetate nanofiber engineered with chitosan/cerium oxide nanoparticles.

Researchers developed a wound dressing containing chitosan nanoparticles encapsulated with cerium oxide nanoparticles. The dressing demonstrated strong antibacterial properties, antioxidant activity, improved cell viability and migration, and increased diabetic wound repair by 95.47% after 15 days. This has potential for treating diabetes-related wounds.

Citrus reticulata peel extract mitigates oxidative stress and liver injury induced by abamectin in rats.

Citrus reticulata peel extract (CPE) was found to have potent antioxidant activity and can alleviate abamectin-induced liver toxicity by modulating various parameters. This suggests that CPE could be effective in reducing the harmful effects of abamectin exposure.
