Aromatase inhibitors identified from Saraca asoca to treat infertility in women with polycystic ovary syndrome via in silico and in vivo studies.

Researchers identified two compounds, procyanidin B2 and luteolin, from that showed better interaction with aromatase and higher stability than a commercial inhibitor. These compounds reduced aromatase concentration in ovarian tissues, indicating their potential as aromatase inhibitors for treating infertility in PCOS patients.

Origanum majorana L. polyphenols: in vivo antiepileptic effect, in silico evaluation of their bioavailability, and interaction with the NMDA receptor.

This study examined the bioavailability and antiepileptic activity of a plant extract from L. leaves. The extract showed good antiepileptic activity by delaying seizures, possibly due to the interaction of its compounds with the NMDA receptor.
