Intranasal administration of the essential oil from Perillae Folium ameliorates social defeat stress-induced behavioral impairments in mice.

Researchers investigated the antidepressant mechanism of essential oil from Perillae Folium (PFEO). PFEO is commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat depression. The study aims to uncover the specific mechanism behind its antidepressant effects.

Phytochemical Analysis, acetylcholinesterase inhibition, antidiabetic and antioxidant activity of Atriplex halimus L. (Amaranthaceae Juss.).

Mediterranean saltbush contains beneficial compounds like phenols and flavonoids, which have antioxidant properties. These compounds also have potential health benefits against diabetes and acetylcholinesterase-related conditions. Enzyme activities are linked to the presence of terpenes, sterols, saponins, coumarins, and carotenoids.

Triptolide alleviates the development of inflammation in ankylosing spondylitis via the NONHSAT227927.1/JAK2/STAT3 pathway.

Triptolide, an ingredient in traditional Chinese medicine, shows promise in treating ankylosing spondylitis (AS) by regulating the long non-coding RNA NONHSAT227927.1. This study demonstrates that Triptolide reduces inflammation in AS-fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLSs) and inhibits the JAK2/STAT3 pathway via NONHSAT227927.1.
