Mucilage-assisted fabrication of molybdenum trioxide nanostructures for photothermal ablation of breast cancer cells.

Scientists developed a low-cost, green technique to make molybdenum trioxide nanostructures (MNs) using Opuntia ficus-indica mucilage as a template. The MNs, functionalized with folic acid (FA), showed excellent biocompatibility and can be used as an effective photothermal agent to treat breast cancer.

Effects of Acute Beetroot Juice and Sodium Nitrate on Selected Blood Metabolites and Response to Transient Ischemia: A Crossover Randomized Clinical Trial.

Consumption of nitrate-rich products like beetroot juice can alter the nitrate-nitrite-nitric oxide pathway, which has implications for cardiovascular health and exercise performance in humans.
