Green Synthesis of Nickel Oxide NPs Incorporating Carbon Dots for Antimicrobial Activities.

A composite of nickel oxide nanoparticles (NiO NPs) and carbon dots (C-dots) was synthesized using plant leaf extract and citric acid. It showed strong antimicrobial effects against bacterial and fungal strains, making it potentially useful in lab settings.

A comparative analysis of phytochemicals, metal ions, volatile metabolites in heart wood, stem bark and leaves of Salix alba L. along with invitro antioxidant, antacid, antimicrobial activities for sake of environment conservation by substitution of stem bark with leaf.

Salix alba L. leaves are abundant in micronutrients, essential metals, possess strong antibacterial activity and higher antacid activity compared to stem bark and heartwood.
