Comparative analysis of the phenolic contents and antioxidant activities of different parts of two pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) Cultivars: 'Tunisia' and 'Qingpi'.

Study analyzes phenolic content & antioxidant activity in pomegranate parts. Petals contain highest polyphenols, placenta has highest flavonoids & punicalagin. Placenta is vital for punicalagin. Antioxidant activity highest in placenta.

Metagenomic characterization of the cecal microbiota community and functions in finishing pigs fed fermented Boehmeria nivea.

Fermented BN supplementation had no significant impact on antioxidants or gut structure in pigs, but did affect gene expression, bacteria abundance, and antibiotic resistance. Further research is needed.

Inonotus obliquus polysaccharide are linear molecules that alter the abundance and composition of intestinal microbiota in Sprague Dawley rats.

Study investigated how a macromolecular polysaccharide affected intestinal flora in male and female rats. Results could help determine potential gender differences in gut health and guide future research in modulating intestinal flora for health benefits.

Genome sequencing of cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) isolates infecting chilli and its interaction with host ferredoxin protein of different host for causing mosaic symptoms.

Researchers confirmed the presence of cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) in 71 out of 100 chilli plant samples in India. They identified five CMV isolates, sequenced and analyzed their genomes, providing insights into the production of mosaic symptoms in infected plants. This knowledge aids in the management of viral infections in chilli crops.

Rosa laevigata Michx. Polysaccharide Ameliorates Diabetic Nephropathy in Mice through Inhibiting Ferroptosis and PI3K/AKT Pathway-Mediated Apoptosis and Modulating Tryptophan Metabolism.

Michx. polysaccharide (RLP), from Chinese herbal medicine, reduces kidney damage, inflammation, and oxidative stress in DN mice. RLP modulates metabolism and inhibits apoptosis, suggesting it as a potential treatment for DN.
