Carboxymethyl chitosan and resistant starch combo improves diabetes control by increasing probiotic growth, suppressing harmful bacteria, and reducing water intake, weight, blood glucose levels, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels in diabetic mice. Gut microbiota diversity was proven.
