GC-MS analysis and antifungal potential of flower extract of Acacia nilotica subsp. Indica against Macrophomina phaseolina.

Researchers found that Acacia nilotica subsp. indica flower extract has strong antifungal properties against Macrophomina phaseolina, a harmful plant pathogen. The chloroform fraction showed the highest efficacy, containing compounds like cyclopentanol,-1-methyl. This research could lead to new treatments for plant diseases.

Exploring the wound healing activity of phytosomal gel of Annona squamosa and Cinnamomum tamala leaves ethanolic extracts with antioxidant and antimicrobial activities in S aureus infected excision wound model.

Researchers combined ethanolic extracts of two plants to create a Polyherbal Ethanolic extract (PHEE) with antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. PHEE incorporated in a gel showed improved wound healing and reduced bacterial load in infected wounds, outperforming Povidone iodine ointment.
