Enhanced photocatalytic activity and antiviral evaluation of CuO@Fe2O3 NC for amoxicillin degradation and SARS-CoV-2 treatment.

Researchers developed copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO NPs) and CuO NPs decorated with hematite nanocomposites (CuO@Fe2O3 NC) using a green method. CuO@Fe2O3 NC exhibited enhanced photocatalytic and antiviral properties against SARS-CoV-2, making it valuable for disinfection and virus control.

Aucubin improves chronic unpredictable mild stress-induced depressive behavior in mice via the GR/NF-κB/NLRP3 axis.

The study examined the therapeutic effect of aucubin (AU), the main component of Eucommia ulmoides Oliv (EUO), on depression in mice. AU improved depression-like behavior by promoting intranuclear expression of glucocorticoid receptor (GR) and inhibiting inflammation-driven cell pyroptosis.
