LC-MS metabolomic evidence metabolites from Oenothera rosea L´ Hér. ex Ait with antiproliferative properties on DU145 human prostate cancer cell line.

The study found that extracts from the Oenothera genus have antiproliferative activity against prostate cancer cells. Metabolomic analysis identified 40 potential anticancer compounds. O. rosea can be used as an antiproliferative agent with low concentrations.
