Antimicrobial Studies

Morphological, molecular, and biological characterization of bulb rot pathogens in stored Lanzhou lily and the in vitro antifungal efficacy of three plant essential oils.

Researchers studied a pathogenic fungal infection in Lanzhou lilies, identifying two strains causing rot. They explored optimal conditions for fungal growth and assessed antifungal effects of essential oils, finding cinnamon oil most effective. This research contributes to disease control in Lanzhou lily storage.
