Overexpression of a BR inactivating enzyme gene GhPAG1 impacts eggplant fruit development and anthocyanin accumulation mainly by altering hormone homeostasis.

Brassinosteroid deficiency in eggplants hinders fruit development and pigmentation, resulting in smaller, less colorful fruit. Genes responsible for cell elongation, hormone signaling, and pigment production were affected.

Allium ampeloprasum var. Porrum (Alliaceae) Improves Metabolic and Reproductive Disorders Associated with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome in Wistar Rats.

The study evaluated the effects of a plant extract in rats with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Results showed that the extract decreased body weight, improved fertility, and reduced symptoms of PCOS. The extract contains compounds that may be beneficial for treating female infertility and could be used as a dietary supplement for PCOS patients.

Alleviation of carbendazim toxicity effect by Moringa oleifera oil and Linum usitatissimum L. oil on testes of male rats: Physiological, histological and in silico study.

Carbendazim, a fungicide, was found to cause oxidative stress and histological disruptions in rats, with reproductive complications. Moringa oil and flaxseed oil showed potential in alleviating these effects.

Characteristic analysis of BZR genes family and their responses to hormone treatments and abiotic stresses in Carya illinoinensisa.

Researchers identified and characterized the BZR gene family in pecan, finding that these genes are involved in various processes, including photomorphogenesis, stress response, and pollen sterility. This study paves the way for future research on the role of CiBZR genes in plant growth, development, and stress responses.

Co-treatment of silymarin and cisplatin inhibited cell proliferation, induced apoptosis in ovarian cancer.

Researchers investigated the effects of combining cisplatin (a chemotherapy drug) with silymarin (an extract from milk thistle) on ovarian cancer cells. Silymarin enhanced the anticancer effects of cisplatin, offering potential for improved treatment options. Important for developing effective ovarian cancer therapies.
