Chromatin architecture of two different strains of Artemisia annua reveals the alterations in interaction and gene expression.

This study investigates the role of chromatin structure in the production of artemisinin in Artemisia annua. Changes in chromatin organization were found to affect gene expression levels, leading to differences in artemisinin content. Understanding chromatin structure could provide insights into the mechanisms of artemisinin synthesis.

Suppression of pyrrolidine ring biosynthesis and its effects on gene expression and subsequent accumulation of anatabine in leaves of tobacco (N. tabacum L.).

Researchers studied transgenic plants with suppressed putrescine methyltransferase (PMT) activity to generate anatabine. The study examines how these plants respond to topping and the impact on alkaloid biosynthesis. Understanding this can improve tobacco production and synthesis of anatabine.

Genome-wide identification of Apetala2 gene family in Hypericum perforatum L and expression profiles in response to different abiotic and hormonal treatments.

Tossers identified HpAP2 genes to study their functions in plant development, hormonal response, and stress. Findings can aid in understanding how these genes affect plant growth and survival.
