Petroselinum crispum L., essential oil as promising source of bioactive compounds, antioxidant, antimicrobial activities: In vitro and in silico predictions.

Study identified volatile compounds in PC-Eo essential oil, evaluated antioxidant and antimicrobial properties using simulations and assays. Results show effective antioxidant and antimicrobial activity, supporting traditional uses and suggesting potential as a natural remedy.

Gelatin/agar pH-indicator film based on cranberry extract loaded with linalool nanoparticle: Survey on physical, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties.

Scientists encapsulated linalool in nanoparticles and incorporated them into pH-sensitive smart films with cranberry extract. This enhanced antimicrobial and antioxidant properties, increased water resistance, and improved film strength, preventing pork spoilage.
