CD8(+) T Cell-Mediated Therapeutic Antitumor Effect of an Herbal Mixture Containing Ganoderma lucidum.

An herbal medicine used in Japan for cancer patients was found to have a therapeutic effect on tumor growth by suppressing it through CD8 T cells. This is the first scientific evidence of its contribution to tumor immunity.
