The Antimicrobial Effects of Myrosinase Hydrolysis Products Derived from Glucosinolates Isolated from Lepidium draba.
Scientists isolated and purified glucosinolates from hoary cress and myrosinase from garden cress. They found differences in hydrolysis rates and conversion to anticancer isothiocyanates. This research could lead to the development of dietary supplements with potential antimicrobial properties.
