Anti-α-glucosidase, Anti-proliferative and Anti-enterovirus 71 Activity of Secondary Metabolites Identified from Grifola Frondosa.

Researchers found that compounds derived from Grifola frondosa, an edible and medicinal resource, show inhibitory activity against α-glucosidase, tumor cells, and enterovirus 71 (EV71). This discovery could lead to potential treatments for diabetes, cancer, and EV71 infections.

Evaluating the role of Ginkgo biloba extract in the secondary prevention of Acute Ischemic Stroke with cerebral microbleeds by Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping(QSM).

EGb 761, a Ginkgo biloba extract, has anti-inflammatory and thrombotic effects. In a study, EGb combined with Aspirin improved blood oxygen saturation in ischemic stroke patients with microbleeds. This combo could be effective for long-term secondary prevention.
