Assessment of the hypoglycemic and anti-hemostasis effects of Paederia foetida (L.) in controlling diabetes and thrombophilia combining in vivo and computational analysis.

The study found that the methanolic extract of P. foetida leaves (PFLE) showed no toxicity, reduced blood sugar levels, increased body weight, and had anti-hemostasis effects. Deep learning predicted that Cleomiscosins, found in PFLE, have potential as drugs for managing diabetes and thrombophilia.

Ca2+ - and Zn2+ -dependent nucleases co-participate in nuclear DNA degradation during programmed cell death in secretory cavity development in Citrus fruits.

Scientists analyzed the expression patterns of two nucleases (CrCAN and CrENDO1) during programmed cell death in Citrus fruits. They found that these nucleases work together to degrade nuclear DNA, providing evidence for ion-dependent nucleases in plant cell death.

Separation and purification of alkaloids and phenolic acids from Phellodendron chinense by pH-zone refining and online-storage inner-recycling counter-current chromatography.

This study separated and purified eight compounds from Phellodendron chinense using different chromatography techniques. The purified compounds include six alkaloids and two phenolic acids. Purity of the compounds was over 95.0%.

GhIMP10D, an inositol monophosphates family gene, enhances ascorbic acid and antioxidant enzyme activities to confer alkaline tolerance in Gossypium hirsutum L.

Researchers conducted a study on cotton plants to analyze the expression and functions of key enzymes involved in ascorbic acid synthesis pathways. Understanding these pathways can help improve plant growth, development, and stress tolerance.
